Bassist Michael Hawkins

Michael Hawkins is scheduled to appear at “Cool Jazz at Cooling Pond” on 9/25. His quartet, “Michael Hawkins and The Brotherhood” appear regularly on the Richmond jazz scene. He has provided the bass lines behind many jazz greats, including multiple recordings with pianist Cyrus Chestnut and his band.
