Roger Reynolds is an accomplished singer, radio personality, photographer, philanthropist, and heavy equipment operator.
He has been performing for as long as he can remember, starting when the family would push him out front during neighborhood Christmas caroling outings to sing the lead on “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.” He has never recovered.
Roger has both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music from the University Of Miami and has performed on stage with Jon Hendricks, Mark Murphy, Vinx, Desirée Roots Centeio, Uptown Vocal Jazz Quartet, U. of Miami Jazz Vocal Ensemble I, and MANY of the fine graduates of that university.
Currently, Roger teaches and performs in the Richmond, Virginia area doing whatever people will pay him to do. Musically, that is.
If that’s not enough, Roger is the co-founder and Director of Programs for CJ’s Thumbs Up Foundation (CJSTUF.org), a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides assistance to families of children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. They serve around 10,000 patients, family members, and caregivers every year in the Central Virginia area. Come ask him about it.
And finally, Roger is infamous for his bad jokes. Just. Don’t.
