Ben Redwine and The Redwine Jazz Band

Everleigh Vineyards welcomes the aptly named musician Dr. Ben Redwine as he continues his summer concert tour of the East Coast.  Lake Anna Jazz became aware of Dr. Redwine during one of his many appearances in his home base of New Orleans.  In addition to leading The Redwine Jazz Band in performances of popular music from the early part of the twentieth century, he is a Selmer Paris performing artist, a D’Addario performing artist, and a Rovner Ambassador, presenting concerts and master classes internationally.  He has been a regular performer with the Louisiana Philharmonic and Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestras.  In 2022, Ben’s bands were featured at the historic Dew Drop Jazz and Social Hall, and at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. He is devoted to the performance of new classical music and old jazz, as well as to teaching the next generation of players and teachers.
